Schoolyard Hydro-Ecology
 
BES science educators and scientists teamed up to present two workshops on schoolyard hydro-ecology, a five day workshop for sixteen K-12 teachers all from Baltimore City Public Schools, and a 3 day workshop for ten middle school science teachers from Baltimore City and County Public Schools. The first workshop, provided mini-lectures, field investigations, pedagogy sessions, site visits, ample opportunity to review the Schoolyard Hydro-Ecology Unit and develop individualized plans for classroom implementation. The second workshop also included these essential components.
