Opportunities for Educators

Research Experiences for Teachers

Research Experience for Teachers (RET) Fellowships are usually available for 1-2 teachers each year through the Baltimore Ecosystem Study in Baltimore. Teachers spend 4-6 weeks joining an ecology research team, carrying out their own research, and developing applications and lessons for their use with students. Fellows receive a stipend, a fund for travel and supplies, and research support from scientists and educators.
