Internet Presence for BES Jonathan Walsh, Charles Schweik Funding for the Baltimore Ecosystem Study is now contingent upon internet presence of the study. The LTER review of the Baltimore Ecosystem Study will not be successful if the data is not available on the internet. Furthermore, the data must be centrally available. Additionally, there must also exist associated metadata, in a unified format. In the recent past we have developed a new website and in participation with faculty and students at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst have developed a system which will accept our metadata and data in a manner which will ensure a successful LTER review. |
