AbstractArcheological Sites for Anne Arundel County. These data are produced by the Maryland Historical Trust of the Department of Housing and Community Development, Division of Historical and Cultural Programs, Maryland Historical Trust. The Maryland Historical Trust maintains an inventory of archeological sites recorded in the state of Maryland. The Archeological Sites Presence Grid layers are vector grids with cells 700 x 700 meters in size that indicate the presence/absence of recorded archeological sites within each grid cell. Refer to the enclosed text file for more information.
PurposeThe archeological sites presence grid was created to release information regarding the presence of archeological sites without depicting the exact locations or providing more specific information. Since surveys are incomplete, areas which are not flood
